The Lewis of Warner Hall lineage is
perpetuated through the children of "Councillor" John Lewis
1669-1725. While Legend of Lewis recognizes John Lewis Sr.,
Gent of Monmouth as progenitor of this lineage, for the sake
of organization, biographies will be illustrated as
descendants of "Councillor" John Lewis.
Just as Sorley used
the "Key Letter" format for identifying the three lineages
(A=John, B=Charles, C=Robert) so to will
Legend of Lewis. Additionally, a color code has been
created (using the 3 primary colors Red,
Green, and Blue)
to aid in identification.
